DAY 26 - HALIFAX - NOVA SCOTIA

Today was a wonderful day - We started off by visiting Mahone Bay.  Apparently this is the truest replica of an English Village on the Continent.  As you can see by the pictures below it is a beautiful place - however everything was very expensive.  We wandered around the shops - had Fish & Chips for lunch at a very quaint restaurant and then drove to Lunenburg.   Another very pretty place - and again just wandered around taking in the beauty.   Don visited a museum.   The highlight of the day however was the drive to Peggy's Cove.   Our first stop was the site of the Swiss Air Memorial.  Very interesting but also very sombre.   Later drove right to Peggy's Cove and made our way over the rocks to the Lighthouse.  Lots of photos attached.   Drove home for dinner at the Rig and had a relaxing evening.
